Search And Rescue (SAR) vessels

Besides building yachts, Aluboot has extensive expertise in building SAR vessels, specifically for the Dutch KNRM rescue organization. This experience has been acquired while building over 20 ships in the "Arie Visser" class, a 19-meter oceangoing design, and the Joh. Frederik class, a 15-meter predecessor ship. These robust and reliable vessels carry their crew safely and comfortably on any sea and in any weather.

During the building process, there is constant consultation and discussion with the architect, customer, and the future crew. The latest technology, the most reliable solution, and the best equipment are selected, tested, and applied.

After specifying the equipment, engines, and propulsion system, Aluboot will build the ship for a fixed-agreed price, following the drawings and specifications. During the build, several adaptations to construction have to be made. Except for equipment, these adaptations will be included in the fixed price.

Naval Architect Willem de Vries Lentsch has done most of the designs. Any construction changes and implementation of new ideas during the build have been discussed, approved, and documented by the architect, who will finally record these changes in the drawings for future use.
